This is a buggy! A buggy is what the  Amish use to get around town. They can be young or old to be driving one of these. They do not drive cars like most of us but at least they can get around. This is a great way for their horses to get exercise. Fact: if you see an amish man with a beard they are married. Me and Tara saw a teen that looked about 15-16 years of age and had a  beard, he was probably married at a young age. Thanks for reading and I hope you enjoy!

Custom Cafè and Deli

Custom Cafè

This deli is located on 25A in Port Jefferson New York in Suffolk County. This deli had people coming in and out from Port Jefferson itself, and other villages near by. This will be written in Megs' Side and Tara's side. Enjoy

Megs' Side

This is a great deli or cafè. It fits right with the village that it is in. They serve great food but they sometimes forget to put something you ordered in your bag! (That's not good!) They are very friendly when they are in a good mood which is usually in the afternoon. They make this amazing sandwich that I get all the time, called the Monica. It has chicken cutlets, 1000 island dressing, bacon, and cheese. When I take my first bite I feel like I am in... HEAVEN!!!!! Now lets hear from Tara's Side!

What you will be hearing about next!

Next time you read you wi read about…Sweet 'n' Savory a crape and rice pudding bar. Thanks for reading! Enjoy!

Vincenzo's Pizza

Vincenzo's Pizzeria

Vincenzo's Pizzeria is located on Main Street in Port Jefferson New York. Its an amazing pizzeria, with slices of pizza that you might not find in other pizzeria's. This post will be on different sides, Megs' side and Tara's side.

Megs' Side

In my opinion, this restaurant is... THE BOMB!!!! This is a restaurant that my family and I go to a lot. I like pizza, but this pizza isn't any ordinary kind of pizza, when I had my first bite of their pizza I thought I was in HEAVEN!!!!!!!!! One of my favorite slices that they have is the mac & cheese slice. It is a slice of pizza that has mac & cheese on it then another layer of cheese. Just explaining it makes me die! This restaurant has lovely workers and like an old fashioned and contemporary atmosphere. The restaurant is very clean and is one of my favorites. In my opinion, this restaurant is a 5 star rating! Now lets hear from Tara and lets see her opinion of Vincenzo's Pizzeria.

Tara's Side

Vincenzo's has proven to be a reliable pizza place that serves up consistently good pizza.  They have carved out a nice spot, convenient to the ferry and the Sunday Farmer's Market.  They have created some great specialty slices-which seems to be the backbone of their business.  The service is always pleasant and the atmosphere is  typical of a New York pizzeria.  My only complaint would be the price-it is not uncommon to pay over $20 for a few slices and drinks.  While their Stromboli is truly full of good Italian meats, I prefer the stuffed chicken cutlet roll. My only complaint is that it is very expensive. I have on s few occasions strayed away the chicken cutlet roll or chicken parmigiana- both very delicious. The lasagna was not my favorite-the texture of the meat didn't sit right with me and the meatball parmigiana is satisfying.  Vincenzo's is a great place for a quick bite!  I would give it a 4 out of five simply for the expense. Enjoy!

Next Time Read About!

Next time you read you will find a new place. The next time we will be telling you about Custom Café and Deli. Keep reading to find out where we have been. Enjoy!

Kimi Japanese Restaurant

The Beginning

This blog is about different restaurants. We are going to be starting with restaurants in the village of Port Jefferson. Tara and I will be going all over Suffolk County maybe even in different towns, different counties, maybe even different states telling you which restaurants are great and which restaurants are not so great. (This is going to be in our opinion.)

The Restaurant

Meg's View:      The first restaurant we will be giving our opinion on is... Kimi an amazing Japanese Restaurant in Port Jefferson New York in Suffolk County. This Restaurant is amazing if you like Japanese. The waiters are so nice. At this restaurant, you will see many different things... like...different things from Japan. Also, you will see 2 men making sushi. When you go you will see the same workers there all the time, which is nice because, you will know them and they will know you. In our opinion this restaurant is a 5 star rating.

Tara's View: I enjoy Kimi and always find a very attentive staff.  I usually order a Lunch or Dinner Box which gives me a variety of my favorites.  At times, my husband has come along and really enjoys the specialty rolls that Kimi offers. I have to say, Kimi is good and would be worth recommending to others who enjoy Japanese food.
